Night Transformation

After reading Night I was transformed in many ways. I began to realize the way hunger truly had its effect on people, after learning the true accounts Eliezer wrote about family members killing each other over a mere piece of bread. How just eating is the only thing in their heads, just everyman for himself. I was also transformed in the way I have taken things for granted. Such as a small piece of bread which I think of as a just a simple snack, might mean life or death to prisoners in the Holocaust.

RAFT Civil War

Dear Family,

It is I, Cornelius Wilkerson, your father and husband. I know times are tough with me gone to war, but this war is vital. I don't think I couldn't ever go back to being somebody's property again. We must fight for our freedom and we cannot give up now. Although I believe we have a very strong army here in the Union, I fear I may be captured and sold back into slavery. I promise will return to you as a free man.

Salutations Family,
Cornelius

Transformation

Dear Blog Readers,
Today we are discussing about what I hope to transform about the world. I don't really believe I will be able to transform this greatly but I hope to play my part on preserving the natural beauties of mother nature. My worst fear is that someday future generations won't be able to see these amazing things. I hope I can help transform peoples' bad habits of polluting and destroying beautiful places.

Bravery

         Dear ladies and gentlemen,
The most brave person I can think of is Jesus Christ, our lord and savior. He gave up his life so we could all be forgiven for our sins. He saved us all with his life. That is about as brave as you can be, giving up your life so the rest of the world would be forgiven. Actually Mrs. Alldredge is tied for the most brave person, because she stands up to this rascally H period kids almost everyday. The second most brave person I know is Chazz Michael Michaels. He stood up to those dang cheating Van Waldenbergs and didn't let them win

Justice

Yo its your boi Reid back at you with another blog! Today we are covering "justice". I believe that good citizens aid justice and help make it possible. People are not born into being good, it is a path they chose. Another factor I believe aids justice is courage. Sometimes to be able to stand up for what is fair and right you must be brave. Something that I think impedes justice is greed and selfishness. People think about what is best for them before they think about the people that are being affected. For example, back in the day, slaveholders fought to keep their slaves enslaved. They didn't care how much they suffered they just wanted it for themselves. Also I believe prejudice people harm justice. They judge and make their decision before they know anything. An example is the people of Maycomb county who believe that a black man who was accused of rape actually did it before they knew any of the facts. This is what harms justice.

Trip to LA

        Dearest Blog Enthusiasts,

Today we are covering what it means to be a witness and how I was transformed by our trip to LA.
In my opinion there are two types of witnesses, bystanders and allies. Bystanders are the ones who watch it happen and don't take action, and in the Holocaust case, let people die. Allies are the brave few who step and sacrifice their safe lives to save others. I am now a witness of the Holocaust and I have the choice if I want to take action and prevent the world from another Human Rights or other disaster in the future. The trip taught me what happens when the world doesn't try hard enough to become an ally and what can happen. I also enjoyed the lunch at the park and the bus rides. They were lots of fun.

       Warm Regards,
